A Privacy note about this page...

The information you share about how you want the pages on this web site to look is stored on your computer as a 'cookie' or file. This information is not maintained by the Library but only checked each time you use this site, so that the display looks the way you want it to. If you do fill in identifying information -- name, address, phone number or e-mail address -- the Tacoma Public Library will use this information only for the purpose of making it easier for you to fill in forms when you order copies of images or when sending comments to library staff.

If you want to remove these settings you can erase the cookie file on your computer. Be aware that if you give your computer to someone else these settings will stay with the computer. They are NOT stored on our servers. These settings are stored in the key 'imageprf' in a cookie for the 'images' directory, in the cookies directory of your browser.

If you want to change these settings back to their defaults you can click on the option button on this screen to return to defaults. This will remove all the settings, including any name or e-mail information, for the next time you use this database. This will NOT however remove the cookie entirely, but only set it to a value that will contain and transfer no information.

The Tacoma Public Library does not store or use this information for any other purposes.
