Description: In March of 1955, four Stadium High School students surrounded the poster that showed the percentage of Stadium students participating in the free chest x-ray program at the school. The Junior board of the Tuberculosis Association of Pierce County was sponsoring a contest between the regions high schools with the slogan "Throw out your chest." The school with the highest percentage of participation in the free chest x-rays program would receive a 1 1/2 foot trophy. Early detection through x-rays and early treatment were the two strongest weapons against the spread of TB. Stadium students, left to right, are Judy Dokry, Doris Zoebel, Mary Rowland and Michael Johnson. (TNT 3/6/1955, pg. A-12, 3/7/1955, pg. 26) TPL-8335
